A group of leader engineers with deep experience and high knowledge in the field of hydro structures and environment established the company in August 1988. More than 20 years history we have prepared the Pre-Feasibility studies for the hydro power plants (HPPs): Eg, Ulaanboom, Berkh and Ulaanhunkh and the Feasibility studies for the HPPs: Eg, Chargait and Maikhan with collaboration of domestic and international project teams. Engineers of our company donate knowledge for the development of appropriate utility and protection of water resources and hydropower supply. One of the founders Mr.Dagvadorj.B, Consulting Engineer of Mongolia has more than 40 years experience in the field of investigation and construction design of hydraulic structures and he has been participating in many major projects from the government. He is an internationally reputable specialist and a member of the International Hydropower Association. Bringing new technology and protecting environment in Mongolia be our key priority. Therefore our engineer Boldbaatar became as certified CQA of geosynthetic materials inspector from GCI. We participated to establish new MNS standards for geomembranes material testing and laboratory. Long term consistent reliable services to the clients gives us opportunity to expand more rapidly than ever and working in different areas including working as an official distributor of Leister Technologies AG, Switzerland and GSE Lining Technologies Co., Ltd, Thailand. 1988 -

The first private company established as “Hydro tusul” co-operative under the auspices of a group of Leader Engineers in the water management, development and environmental field of Mongolia.

1991 -

The company named as Usny Erchim Co.,Ltd. (UEC) and organized an independent consulting, engineering organization.

1991-

The Feasibility Study and Detailed Design and Preparation Tender Documents of the Egiin Hydro power plant (HPP) of 220 MW capacity with 96 m high RCC dam and infrastructure such as road, transmission line, environmental measures which prepared with cooperation of Electrowatt Engineering Services Ltd. Zurich, Switzerland and ELC Electroconsult Milan, Italy and UEC of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

1994 -

Pre-Feasibility Study and Feasibility Study of Maikhantolgoi HPP with 21 MW capacities for electric energy supply to three Western Provinces of Mongolia. The design was converted to Maikhan HPP 12 MW in 2008 and the detailed design for construction has been developed by our engineers.

2003 -

Tailings dam design, construction supervision and QA/QC work and inspection of HDPE geomembrane liner, project translation, geotechnical work, soil laboratory and EIA etc started

2007 -

First major Heap Leach Facility construction: QA/QC work for clay liner and LLDPE and HDPE geomembrane liner at Boroo Gold Co., Ltd.

2009 -

Opened geomembrane liner inspection and installation department and began installation of geomembranes in Mongolia.

2011 -

We participated at establishing 25 Mongolian MNS ASTM standards for about terminology of geosynthetic materials, technical requirements of polyethylene geomembrane, material testing methods and test of welding qualities with collaboration of the National Bureau of Statistics Mongolia and Research center of Construction Design, University of Science and Technology.

2012 -

Became an official distributor of Leister in Mongolia and opened sales and marketing department of Leister equipment

2013 -

Became an official distributor of GSE Lining Technologies Co., Ltd in Mongolia and opened sales and marketing department of Leister equipment
